Our hiking paradise

The path leads through gorgeous forests past magnificent meadows up to the summits of the Zillertal. Now, you can experience the feeling of having the valley at your feet and a seemingly endless view that stretches out across the mountain panorama. 1,200 km of hiking paths in the Zillertal provide for such moments. We also recommend a stop for delicious treats at the snack stations as well as excursions to attractions such as the cheese dairy in Fügen.

In the Zillertal, there are 1,200 km of excellent mountain biking and cycling routes! Now, you just have to decide what kind of route you are looking for - is it a panoramic tour high above the mountains or a leisurely bike through the side valleys? Our tip that always delights everyone: an excursion on the 31 km long Zillertal Bike Path, which connects Strass and Mayrhofen.

The Zillertal offers tons of opportunities to cool off on hot days. The Erlebnisteich Aufenfeld can be reached from Fügen and Stummerberg in less than 10 min. by car. Awaiting swimming fans is a beautiful area with wooden piers and walkways, play areas, waterfall, beach volleyball, and a large sunbathing area. Badewelt Stumm, including slide, pool, fountains, and a vast recreational offer, promises the best outdoor swimming conditions. For vacationers in Fügen, the Erlebnistherme is located nearby and includes an outdoor pool with a 1,700m² water surface and various slides!
